The Obituary of Aleah Rachelle Jones “Remembering A Beautiful Spirit Whose Light Will Forever Shine Bright.” With love that will never fade and broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, Aleah Rachelle Jones, who departed this life on February 13, 2026, at the age of 17. She graced this world on December 19, 2008. Aleah, affectionately known as “Leah” by her mother, was vibrant, strong, and full of light. Her favorite color was pink, light pink to be specific. Pink was not just a color, but a whole vibe that matched her presence, softness, and boldness perfectly that reflected exactly who she was both unforgettable and a beautiful spirit. She adored Hello Kitty, kept her lip gloss poppin’, and could turn even the simplest trip to TJ Maxx into a full adventure, especially when shopping for jewelry and perfume alongside her beloved mother and brother, “Pud.” She loved matcha runs, crawfish boils, snowballs, roast, greens of every kind, tanning in the sun, swimming in the summer, and embracing every moment life offered her. Aleah was a natural-born athlete whose passion and determination defined her. She competed in cross country, soccer, basketball, and track, earning multiple cross-country awards and recognition for her talent and unwavering dedication. Her coaches often described her as a gifted, natural born athlete, who dominated with grace and confidence. She maintained a disciplined athletic spirit, pouring her heart into every practice and race. Beyond running miles or balling out in sports, she loved to dance freely and live unapologetically, moving through life with energy and boldness. She was also an avid reader, especially enjoying novels by Colleen Hoover, often losing herself in stories the same way others were drawn to her, often getting lost and in awe watching her shine on the field. Aleah loved music deeply, finding comfort and expression in the songs that became the soundtrack to her life. Her favorite songs included Folded by Kehlani, Ken by Billie Eilish, Like a Wife by Webbie, Somebody Loves Me and Make It To The Morning by Party Next Door. Aleah dreamed of becoming a travel nurse, hoping one day to care for others while exploring the world. She loved traveling to New York and wanted to visit Paris, with plans in motion for a trip to Florida this year. Aleah was described by her mother as athletic, caring, hardworking, loving, and outgoing. She was empathetic beyond her years, always putting others first and serving as a rock for those around her. Her favorite saying, “They don’t deserve you,” was her way of reminding others of their worth. She never met a stranger and had a special love for children, always eager to play, talk, and make others feel seen and valued. Her laugh could lift any room, and her goofy, bright spirit made her unforgettable. Above all, Aleah cherished her family. She shared an unbreakable bond with her devoted mother, Amber Jones, whose strength and love shaped her life. She was an incredible and protective big sister to her brother, Cayden “Pud” Williams, loving him deeply and standing beside him always. She also leaves behind her loving grandfather, William Jones, along with countless friends, teammates, teachers, and loved ones whose lives were forever changed by her presence. Aleah is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Margaret Coignet. Though her time here was far too short, Aleah lived boldly, loved deeply, and left a mark that will never fade. Her pink spirit, her strength, her laughter, and her love will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will always be loved. She will always be missed. She will always be ours. Aleah's Celebration of Life Service was held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Treasures of Life Funeral Service, 315 E. Airline Hwy., Gramercy, LA 70052.
