Webster Jeffery, Jr. departed this life and entered into the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center in Thibodaux, LA at the age of 71. Webster was born on April 7, 1949 to the late Florence and Webster Jeffery, Sr. He was a native and resident of Vacherie, LA.
Webster was a very loving and caring man to everyone he came into contact with. He would meet someone for the first time and talk with them as though they had known each other their entire life, and he never forgot a face. He was also well known for taking out his neighbor’s trash and helping them in any way he could. Webster would visit the entire Willow Street and talk with the neighbors. He could often be found outside sitting under the tree, standing by the fence to watch people walk on the track, and sometimes stopping those same people to talk with. Webster had a very good memory, striking up conversation about things that happened many years ago. If you couldn't follow his conversation, he would break it down until you finally understood. There wasn’t a question directed to Webster that he could not answer.
Webster leaves to cherish his memories his sister Linda Legeaux, brother Hayward (Betty) Jeffery, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Florence and Webster Jeffery, Sr., sister Mary Lois Harris, brothers Morris and Stanford Jeffery, Sr., sister-in-law Deloris Jeffery, and brother-in-law Harvey Harris, Sr.
