Obituary for Barbara Ann "Bobbay" Lumar

Barbara Ann Lumar was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at 10:26 pm. She was a native and resident of Edgard, LA.

Barbara was the daughter of Philomena Lumar and the late Lawrence Patty Lumar. She was the mother of Aaron (Sarata) Lumar, Ryan (Shona Melancon) Lumar, and Brandon (Maleka) Lumar; grandmother of Dajonnae Shorty, Jasmine Shorty, Keir Lumar, Keadon Lumar, Kyron Lumar, Tyler Lumar, Taylon Lumar, Jai Waguespack, Dylan Poche, Jaron Lumar, Jalon Lumar, and Jaylaun Harzog. She also had two great-grandchildren, Ayden Shorty and De’Mari Benn. She was the sister of Pamela (Norvan) Smith, Monica Hogan Lumar, Rojanne (Harvey) Tilton, Calvin (Brenda) Lumar, Carl (Renee) Lumar, Erin (Glanice) Lumar, Mark Lumar, and the late Joyce Lumar Brown. She was the devoted Godmother of Devon Lumar and Shalacy Dillon. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
